Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply to the Time Tether app and this website, provided by Noor Staffing Group, LLC, a division of Noor Inc. (“Noor Staffing Group”, “we”, “us”). By signing in to the app you agree to them. The Time Tether Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.
Who can use Time Tether
Time Tether is for people placed by Noor Staffing Group, aged 18 or over, who have been given an account. It is provided free of charge to them. It is not offered to the public.
Your account
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use the app as you.
- Keep your phone and your email secure, and tell us at once at nsgaiteam@noorstaffing.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may ask you to confirm who you are with a code, and may sign you out to protect your account.
Your records
The app records your time, breaks, expenses and requests so they can be approved. Approved records are what your pay and repayments are based on, under the terms of your employment or placement. The app does not change those terms and is not itself a contract of employment.
If a record is wrong, ask for a correction in the app with the reason. Corrections are reviewed by your approver.
Location and permissions
Punching in and out needs your phone's location, and your location is shared while you are clocked in, as the privacy policy describes. You can refuse or remove any permission in your phone's settings; parts of the app that need it will then not work, and you should record your time as your agency directs.
Using the app fairly
You agree not to:
- punch in or out for anyone else, or record time you did not work;
- fake your location, for example with a mock-location app, or tamper with the app's records;
- upload anything unlawful, offensive or that you have no right to share;
- try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, copy, reverse engineer or interfere with the app, except as the law allows.
Misuse may be reported to your agency and handled under your employment or placement terms, and we may suspend access to protect others.
When the app is unavailable
We work to keep Time Tether available and accurate, but it may sometimes be offline, slow or interrupted, for example for maintenance or by your phone's connection or battery settings. If you cannot punch in or out, tell your agency and record your time as they direct. We may update the app, and may require an update when an older version can no longer work safely.
Ownership
The app, this website and their design, names and logos belong to Noor Staffing Group or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your work while you have an account. Your records and messages remain subject to the privacy policy.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may close or suspend accounts when a placement ends, when these terms are broken, or when the law requires it. Records we must keep are kept as the privacy policy describes.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties not stated in these terms and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as an employee or consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts in New York County, New York, have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
